Alfredo Gómez graduated from the University of Zaragoza with a MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering complemented with a MS degree in Vehicle Systems Dynamics. He also holds a Master’s degree in Innovation Management by the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Currently he is working at ITA as technological innovation consultant focused on digitalization processes and Industry 4.0 technologies. In recent years his career has been linked with innovation management and technology transference. Regarding technical areas he is experienced in mechanical design, energy efficiency, noise and vibration within the field of machinery and mechanical equipment, particularly in applications for lifts.

He is co-inventor on several patents related with components and systems for lifts and has published extensively in international journals and conferences on lift technologies. He is member of the Spanish standardization committee for lifts and participates as a national expert in different ISO178 and ELA (European Lift Association) working groups in relation with Lift Technologies.
