Santander International Lift City 2024 is a conference addressed to the lift sector professionals that promotes a new relationship between manufacturers, businesses and lift professionals. The second edition targets a current key issue: “Connectivity as a global trend”
During the 25th and 26th of September, businesses, lift sector professionals from around the world, and first-class speakers will meet in Santander (Cantabria, Spain) to tackle the crucial subject of connectivity. Nowadays, lifts are smart and connected devices.
We find lifts installed in intelligent buildings that digitally interact with all kinds of users, as well as lift businesses within smart cities and societies.
Therefore, the first day of the conference will take place in the Centro Botín, a state-of -the-art building that inspired Santander to evolve towards becoming a Smart City.
On the second day, the congress will be held at the Comillas Pontifical University, a building that dates back to 1890 and is located in the charming and elegant town of Comillas.

Factory visits: SILC offers its attendees the opportunity to get to know the lift design and manufacturing activity from the inside by visiting benchmark industrial facilities on a European scale and meeting all the professionals involved in the lift value chain.
Leisure, culture and gastronomy: SILC attendees will have the opportunity to visit iconic sites in Santander and Cantabria, enjoying the landscapes and culture of this beautiful region in northern Spain and tasting its excellent gastronomy.
