Pablo has a degree in Economics and Business Management from the Universidad de Vigo, an MBA from the University Carlos III of Madrid, and a master’s in Financial Economics and Finance from ICADE.

In addition to his position at Banco Santander, he represents the bank on the Board of Directors of COFIDES (a Spanish development finance institution), and is a board member of the Audit and Risk Supervision Committee.

Until 2018, he represented Banco Santander onthe Board of Directors of CESCE.

Pablo has more than 22 years of experience in the banking industry, he has worked in the areas of risk management, commercial banking and wholesale banking. Previously he has held other positions including Head of Structured Financing and Head of Corporate Banking at Banco Popular.
