David Díez holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Zaragoza and has extensive experience in innovation, technological development and public–private collaboration. He is currently Business Development Manager at the Technological Institute of Aragon (ITA), where he drives R&D projects in the fields of construction, infrastructure and industrial machinery.

He is actively involved in a range of industry bodies and platforms, serving on the Board of Directors of the Aragon Construction Industry Cluster (CICA), on the Standing Committee of the Spanish Construction Technology Platform (PTEC), and working closely with the National Association of Construction and Public Works Machinery Manufacturers (ANMOPYC).

Throughout his career, he has promoted initiatives related to digitalisation, artificial intelligence, digital twins, automation and safety in industrial and construction environments. At this conference, he will present the 0ACCIDENTES project, an initiative aimed at improving safety in infrastructure and buildings through advanced monitoring technologies, predictive analytics and decision-support tools.
